Faded Alan Walker

” Faded ” is by Alan Walker, the Norwegian producer. The EDM track ( Electronic dance music ) was written and produced by Alan.
The song features the vocals of singer Iselin Solheim ( Iselin Løken Solheim ), the Norwegian singer-songwriter who now lives in Oslo didn’t receive full credit for being the featured artist on the track.
” Faded ” is a reworked version of Alan’s past track ” Fade ” which was released by the organisation NoCopyrightSounds, this platform releases royalty-free music which can be put to use on various platforms and services by others.
The first version of this track was watched over 40 Million times on the video-sharing website YouTube, currently, as of March 2016, the song has exceeded 85 Million views.
Both versions may seem identical. However, the newer version ” Faded ” differs by a piano intro, added vocals ( Iselin Solheim ) and enhanced mixing and mastering.
The music video that accompanies ” Faded ” features actor Shahab Salehi, who starred in the 2007 film ” Leo “, as the central character. The video was directed by Rikkard and Tobias Häggbom.
In the video a young man roams a desolate setting wearing a backpack and holding a photograph of his home, exploring for any signs of life he roams the devastation.
Filming took place in Estonia using locations where buildings were derelict, in a state of disrepair or just abandoned. The sites used were then edited together to form a continuation.
