The line-up consisted of Oliver Bendt, Alicia Bendt, Dorothy Hellings, Wendy Doorsen and Mario Slijngaard.
The song was written by Wolff-Ekkehardt Stein and Wolfgang Jass. Both were members of The Blue Moons, a German band formed in Goettingen in 1962. Together they wrote many successful songs, including another Goombay Dance Band hit, ” Sun of Jamaica “, which sold over 11 Million copies.
Production for the single was by Joachim Petersen, the German record producer and multi-instrumentalist. He has worked with many artists including Ikarus, Blonker, Stefan Hallberg and Olsen Brothers.
