The track is built on the ” In The Mood ” original by American wartime prominent band leader Glenn Miller.
The tune is better known for the musical style known as swing, the method of music and dancing that made Glenn a worldwide star in the 1930s and 40s.

At first music critics panned and mocked the song, however, in the United States ” Swing The Mood ” entered the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and reached number eleven, the song stayed on the chart for twenty weeks.
In the United Kingdom ” Swing The Mood ” entered the UK Singles Chart at Number One and held the position for five weeks, the song stayed in the Top Ten for eight weeks and spent a total of nineteen weeks on the UK chart.
