The opening lyric ” Two trailer park girls go round the outside ” is based on Malcolm McLaren’s popular song ” Buffalo Gals “, which itself was based on an Appalachian square dance. The introduction ” Obie Trice, real name, no gimmicks ” was sampled from ” Rap Name ” by Obie Trice.

He also parodies the decision by Prince to change his name to a symbol. Eminem also sends-up comparisons of him to Elvis Presley as a white man having commercial success in what is a mostly black music form.
In the lyrics there is a line that attacks his mother Debbie Mathers, she sued for about $10 Million for slandering her on his debut single ” My Name Is ” but only received a payout of around $1,600 in 2001.
